QUEER SKATE
Queer Skate is a local non-profit organization in Portland, Oregon that creates a safe skating space for queer, women, and BIPOC skaters. This rebrand positions Queer Skate as an edgy yet approachable group. Out of 16 student branding concepts, Queer Skate chose this direction to be implemented as their current branding.
BRAND IDENTITY | SOCIAL MEDIA | ART DIRECTION
This custom lettering logo alludes to the grungy skate aesthetic and embodies the energy, quirkiness, and playfulness of the “tough softies” of Queer Skate.
As Queer Skate expands into more cities, the logo is able to be customized to differentiate between the groups while still keeping them all under the same parent brand.
